JC ft. Calboy — “Skyscrapin” Single
Singer/Songwriter JC and Chicago rap frontrunner Calboy connect on their new uplifting hustle banger “Skyscrapin.”
JC, who has worked with mainstream artists like Rick Ross, Future, and Zaytoven, originally began creating the track for his songwriting company No.2 Pencil Muzic LLC. His management team quickly intervened and maneuvered a connection with the “Envy Me” rapper for a feature.
Equipped with vibrant production from duo David Adams and Tony Rozay “Skyscrapin” delivers an energized personal mantra motivating listeners to elevate their grind to the highest levels as JC sings, “Ten toes down to come up/Clean but I came out the mud.”
“Skyscrapin” arrives as the first follow-up release to JC’s 2019 The Living Room Chronicles, Vol. 1 project and comes complete with the official video as well, with cameos from JC himself and a helicopter pad cut-scene featuring Calboy.
Stream “Skyscrapin” below in addition to the full video that premieres Friday (June 24), at 1PM PST.
