Cardi B Taps Into Her Stripper Roots For New “Money” Music Video

To wrap up an impressive musical year for the Bronx native, Cardi B releases the visual for her latest banger “Money.” As we all know, before her rise to fame, Cardi B was a stripper via “Love & Hip-Hop: New York.” In her latest release, Cardi displays her talented pole dancing moves using her multiplatinum career. The Jora Frantzis-directed video captures Cardi in stunning outfits volleying between mothering her daughter and being in her element in other clips, counting money and pole dancing. Really embracing her femininity and it’s a wonderful sight to see! Showcasing that you can be a skilled rapper, still have the sex appeal  a former stripper, all while being a mother. Shout out to the baby Kulture cameo by the way!

Bardi really shook the internet when she released the NSFW music video. The “Money” visual really shows Cardi making money moves! Throughout the visual Cardi is seen in a lavish museum setting as the centerpiece, playing the piano naked, and dripped in gold attire inside of a vault. She raps, “Ten different looks and my looks all kill,” and indeed they did! So many eye catching visuals. The video is an exploration of bad bitchery in exquisite forms while Cardi pays homage to a couple “bad bitches” herself.

Also, according to Fader, Cardi is expected to re-release Invasion of Privacy with bonus tracks, “Money” and “Press” on Jan. 25. Keep an eye out for that!
