Avatar Frost has been going strong pushing his new music since releasing his new single “Mimosa”. The Charlotte, NC artist is gearing up for his album release, and had the time to give Rap HQ a quick interview as he continues his movement.

Do you have a title for your new project yet?

Yes, the album is called “…there was a boy.”, sort of an homage to Moulin Rouge.

What do you want the people to take away from your music?

I just want people to find more meaning in their own lives, answer personal questions that reach further than just the surface

Do you think you depict exactly who you are in your music?

I depict who I am in my music much BETTER than I do in my personal life or social media. You wanna know exactly who I am…listen to a song or two.

Goals for 2020?

Billboard charts, and to be able to live comfortably off my craft.

Any notable features in your vault that we can look forward to?

Not yet lol, not quite enough “buzz” yet to be getting features but its not discouraging. Shit look at J. Cole.

We saw you announced a project coming this Summer. What’s the direction behind your new project?“…there was a boy.” is meant to be an emotional look into the mind of a sociopath. To purposefully open the third eye of people who don’t even know what that is. No doubt I’m gonna say some controversial stuff but that’s art right? If it doesn’t shock you then how are you going to pay attention?
