DMV Artists Goonew, Lil Dude, and Keezah Drop Video For “Mafia Lifestyle”

The prodigious Maryland rap duo Goonew and Lil Dude adds colleague Keezah to the mix for an explosive new video for single “Mafia Lifestyle,” which was on the two emcees latest project Homicide Boyz 2. Adding to the already embellished and aggressive track produced by Spizzle Doe, the trio showcase experimental energy by trapping out a residential building in the style of a mafia or a gang while reciting lyrics from the single. 

The visual was shot by and directed by Housepartii captures the gritty and raw energy from the single while adding a creative new perspective. Eerie dark lighting and crispy cinematic group shots portray the theme of the song, making moves with your team while having each other back. 

Goonew is an artist who doesn’t only exhibit pristine loyalty but exudes an explementary level of honoring brotherhood among his peers. “I got to make it as a rapper to support my team and family,” he said. “Without them, I wouldn’t have found the success I would have today. Being on top doesn’t mean anything with my mom isn’t out the hood, and my brother isn’t eating with me.”
