Interview with Marcellus Juvann

These past few days I got to kick it and make a friendship with someone realer than a lot of the folks in this industry, Marcellus Juvann big shout out to him for letting me pull up to his music video I appreciate the opportunity (photo above from the set of StudioOne). He also shared with me the latest concept for his “ELITE” shirts, it’s a dope concept I’m sure everyone will love. For anyone reading this, take a note out of Marcellus’s book from his ’03 Malibu video (published by Elevator) at the bottom of this article. It’s not flashy, it’s not full of guns and money. It’s full of REAL, in a time where Hip Hop / Rap Culture is made to relate to people. Problem these days, is a lot of people can’t relate to these “10 bandz” Drake be getting. But we sure can relate to struggling with an old car, just trying to make it out of a sticky situation. For that I applaud him and wish him the best of luck. How long you been rapping for?
2013 is when I took it serious, before it was just like “rap is cool, I can fuck bitches”. I would make a song like every 8 months just to get those one bitches to fuck off Instagram or Twitter.

Andre 3000, Lauryn Hill, Tupac.
Who’re your favorite producers?
Ferrero, Just Blaze, Kanye West.
Where were you born and raised?
Born in Cleveland, Ohio. Raised in Houston, Texas. Lived in Orlando since August 2011.
What do you think inspires your music the most?
Life, and my niggas. These bitches, weed, gang shit, that regular shit y’know? If I don’t smoke I can’t write, I gotta smoke.
Do you do all your work under the influence?
Pretty much, straight up, if I’m sober it just won’t come out right. I’m a stressfull ass nigga, beer weed or liquor helps. That appletini fye too.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I want to put my seed in a R&B bitch, and a grammy for best rap album.

I fuck with NoXscape, LaCruz, TheHempClub.
Are you big on collabs?
Yeah, but I gotta know you. If I don’t got your number saved on my phone, we can’t collab.
