After being relatively quiet on the music scene, Tink is finally returning. On Tuesday, March 20th, the Chicago artist announced the release date of her upcoming EP, Pain & Pleasure. The long awaited new album is set to drop next Friday, March 30th.
Just last month, the Chi-Town native announced her recent departure from Timbaland’s Mosley Music Group due to constant delays and lack of support from the label. Staying away from the hiccups of managers and record labels, Tink is beginning her journey as an indie artist, dedicating her latest project to her fans.
The talented artist also went on to say how the experience allowed her to become a businesswoman along with being a rapper-singer. A triple threat in the industry.
Tink also shared the project’s artwork. Showing the female rapper portraying the title with her hands on her head, with a bold and colorful background.
