Tampa’s Famous Kid Brick Is Bringing the Ice This Summer With New “Bling” Video

As the Florida heat continues to shoot it’s way up the thermostat, Tampa’s very own Famous Kid Brick, who has been around the scene long enough, knows exactly what to do to make this summer even HOTTER! Last month, he kicked off the season by releasing “Bling”, produced by Ace Beatz, and now he’s about to turn it all the way up with the highly anticipated visuals of the track!

Kid Brick seems to drop the perfect track at the perfect time. Originally releasing the song on May 24, he’s already got the city feeling jus like Gucci, as they bounce their bodies to the beat. The song deserves to be the sound of #summer19.

Dropping the banger during a holiday weekend was not only a tactical move yet again, but is no surprise coming from an artist who has spent years mastering the game. Over 10 and a half years, Bricks has been paving his way through the hip hop industry, gaining popularity and fame in his hometown in Tampa, FL.

It’s been 7 summers since the release of “I’m On It”, which quickly put St. Petersburg, FL on the map, attracting listeners and guiding them right over to the nearest hip hop club along The Bay. The track gained tons of hits both online and locally, eventually becoming what one would call the anthem of Pinellas and Hillsborough County.

Just after a decade of hard work and growth, he went on to reach a new level of achievement –  being the first southern Hip Hop artist to sign to Roc Nation. Known to be the record label owned by the GOAT Jay-Z himself, the artists under Roc Nation consist of names such as, Rihanna, J. Cole, Meek Mill, and Big Sean…just naming a few. Now being under Roc Nation’s wing, we could only imagine what type of heat Brick is bringing this time around.

Brick has remained humble as he continues to rep his hometown, where he’s received so much love and support especially since his signing. While we’ve been anticipating the release of  the video, there had been a recent hack to Brick’s Instagram account. He labeled the loss of at least one thousand followers as “TUFFFFF”, but remained in good spirits as a true OG would.
