Texas has an impressive core of music with the amount of talented artists, specifically hip hop artists, that continue to come from the state. Travis Scott, Post Malone, and Maxo Kream are just a few of the artists that prove Texas has some serious talent.

One artist that has stuck out and started to really create a name for himself is Ethan Douglaz. Ethan Douglaz might be new to some, but he has been creating a serious buzz over the last year. Douglaz started to gain national attention in the summer, and has not stopped since. Since then, Douglaz has recieved attention from popular music sources including 24/7 Hip Hop News, Hip Hops Revival, and even Spotify. Douglaz has also recieved attention from big name artists including J.I.D, Jay IDK, and Tunji Ige. Douglaz doesn’t have a deep discography, but the young artist continues to prove flashes of talent within the glimpses of music we do get to hear. As talks of collaborations with artists like Mick Jenkins, John Givez, and much more continue to circulate, Douglaz has numerous people begging for music. As fans constantly bother him on social media asking for music, Douglaz has continued to promise a debut project is in the works. Even with the promise of a debut project on the way, fans have still been very eager to receive music from Douglaz. Although there is no specific release date for his debut project, the music we do get a chance to preview ensures the project will be pleasing, groundbreaking, and worth the wait. With all the hype around the preparation of a debut project gearing up to release, Ethan Douglaz is solidifying his place as an artist that will be here for a while.
