Scipio & Kurupt feat. AD, Eric Bellinger — “Welcome 2 L.A.” (Gee Mix)

Songwriter Scipio and West Coast legend Kurupt are opening their arms to the world with their new single “Welcome 2 L.A.” (Gee Mix).

Featuring Grammy-nominated vocalist Eric Bellinger and up-and-coming rapper AD, “Welcome 2 L.A.” (Gee Mix) serves as a remix of the original version of the track, that was released for sync and licensing back in 2012.

Manoj, who originally produced and co-wrote on the original track. Manoj, who has produced for artists like Bow Wow, and done music supervision for Beyoncé, explained the entire motive behind remixing the track was to, “Bring new life to the welcome 2 LA brand and update the sound while also paying homage to my era of hip hop but still making it sound fresh.”

Scipio, who is most notably known for creating the world’s longest rap song “10,000 Hours” has also played the role as songwriter for artists like Ty Dolla $ign and Terrace Martin.
