Maryland’s Melody Bien Aime Drops Heartfelt Single “I Am Rising”

Melody Bien Aime  seeks to connect with people who have struggled and let them know that there is so much light beyond the tunnel’s end. Her unique sound captivates us using three elements in her song I Am Rising; she features spoken word poetry, rapping, and singing. 

I Am Rising was created during the pandemic in the middle of COVID 19. Working tirelessly in her homemade studio, her closet, I Am Rising, was born. Creating during an epidemic was the best part of quarantine for Melody. Working closely with the singer/songwriter, producer Simonne Jones, Melody created what will be her debut EP along with I Am Rising. During quarantine daily, Melody woke up, writing, recording, self-reflecting, and working on her spirituality. 

By creating music for those who needed to hear it, Melody sought to inspire and partake in the Black Lives Matter movement.
