Fashion Fridays: Beyoncé x Balmain Coachella Collection

Beyhive! You’re now able to get the looks from Beychella! Back in April, Beyoncé took over Empire Polo Club, Indio, CA as the first African American woman to ever headline Coachella and the Queen reigned. Not only did her HBCU inspired performances blow the world away, so did her stage wardrobe. Beyoncé wore five outfits during her iconic performance including the theme-fitting jean shorts and BΔK hoodie, risque all black leather leotard, and the royal, diamond-studded “Queen” outfit.

Balmain and Beyoncé have linked up to release a Coachella inspired collection for charity. Balmain creative director, Olivier Rousteing, talked in detail about the emotion he and Bey put into the festival pieces. On Friday, July 12th a three- piece collection including the pink and yellow sweatshirt that Bey took to the stage during her performance, launched at the Balmain flagship in Paris, France. The collection also includes the black tee and signature varsity styles, which as of July 14th are now available via the official Beyonce and Balmain web stores and select retailers.

Proceeds will go to the United Negro College Fund, which helps thousands of students attend college so that they can thrive, graduate and become tomorrow’s leaders. The pricing for the Beyoncé and Balmain collaborative collection start at $290 and max out at $1,790.

Keep your eyes peeled for new upcoming pieces from this collection.
