Chicago native Cordero Eubanks preaches on his new track, “Concrete.”

Written/Edited by Gabriel Al-Shaer

Chicago native Cordero Eubanks brings poetry in motion to another level with his newest track, “Concrete.” The song begins with a fire crackling in the background while the lyricist delivers a monologue on finding oneself buried beneath a surface, drowning. As soon as the instrumentation begins, however, Eubanks delivers his flow with the poetic aura of a preacher at a pulpit. The rapper touches on a number of topics – not going to church, his relationship with his father, hard times he’s been through, and ends the song with the line, “But is it right reflecting on all the wrongs I have done, okay I’ve won, just let me be a father to my son.” You can find the rest of Eubank’s catalogue here, and stream his newest track, “Concrete”, below.

  • I think everything he says is fake and bery much phony and all lies!!!! He talks a good game to sell bootleg cds though. To talk of the importance of being a father and to sit by and lay with a woman who wont let another man be a father to his own child is a slap in the face. And will eventually happen to uuuuu. How can the world respect uuuu or any of the music u out out when your the exact same. How can u stand for the blk man when u see how the blk woman is keeping yet another blk child from theyre blk father that wants to be a father. U aint shit and never will be. I think your a child molester.

  • I agree that is a shame. Another luar to get sells…..wont happen

  • Fraud
