For Las Vegas, Nevada bred artist Avery Harden, the delivery of his 11th independently released album has not changed much from his previous projects. He is still largely promoting, producing and rolling out Atlantis on his own, with the help of his team ABOV (A Bunch of Visionaries).
The major difference with this effort, however, is the sheer fluidity and prowess Harden’s numerous flows exude throughout the record. He’s always had impressive bars and fully-fleshed out concepts, but Atlantis highlights those attributes with a refreshing new approach.
Throughout the seven tracks, Harden bounces back and forth between the half-sung, off-kilter flows of tracks like “Look at Me Now” to hard-hitting rapid-fire bars tracks like “Aura” and “The Underdog” boast.
Clocking in at 23 minutes in its entirety, Atlantis packs a punch in an extremely limited amount of space.
